Drywall Repair and Re-paint Process
Water damage mitigation company tested and removed all drywall areas affected by major water leak.
The first step in the drywall repair process is to re-install insulation.
Drywall is measured, cut, installed, then seamed and sealed with drywall compound. After thorough sanding, drywall is primed. Priming the drywall is an important step before applying the new wall texture.
After priming, the wall is fine finished with drywall compound to ensure the wall has a smooth, unblemished surface.
Matching texture is uniformly applied to wall in its entirety. The newly textured wall is primed again preparatory to painting.

The wall is painted with two (2) full and separate coats of paint. Baseboard is also painted in full. For this job (like many drywall repair jobs) we painted the ceilings, all walls, doors and door casings, and baseboards to give the entire room a brand new look!
